Evelyn Martha Robbert, age 99, passed away suddenly Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at her home just hours before a planned 100th birthday party at St. Peter Lutheran School. She was born August 5, 1910, in the Town of Bloomfield, Waushara County, daughter of the late John and Emma (Sattler) Radichel. She lived in West Bloomfield where she and her husband owned Robbert’s Garage and Repair Shop and a small farm for over 40 years. After selling her farm in 1995, she moved to Poy Sippi where she lived with her sister, Rena, until they moved to the present residence in Weyauwega in 2000. On July 28, 1935 she married Edwin Robbert at Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield. He preceded her in death in 1989. They moved to Weyauwega to the present residence in 2000. She was baptized, confirmed and married at Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield. Evelyn was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, Weyauwega for over 40 years. She enjoyed camping and fishing with Edwin in northern Wisconsin. She enjoyed crocheting, made many beautiful embroidered towels and pillow cases and did a lot of sewing. She also enjoyed baking bread, making homemade pies, cakes and cinnamon rolls. She enjoyed singing in the church choir. She is survived by her daughter, Marian (Roger) Boushley, Weyauwega, WI; her sister, Rena Thiel, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother-in-law, Lester Thiel; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Leo and Laura Behm, William and Elsie Oehlke, John and Norma Behm, Alvin and Esther Timm, Otto and Leona Handrich, Louis and Hildegarde Robbert, Leo and Glennie Robbert, Alfred and Adeline Robbert, Marlyn (Lucille and Clarice) Robbert, and Elmer and Amanda Robbert. The Christian funeral service for Evelyn was held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2010 at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, Weyauwega with Rev. Dennis Lemke and Rev. Robbin Robbert officiating. Burial was in Concordia Cemetery, West Bloomfield. Relatives and friends called at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday August 7, 2010 and Sunday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
