Reader’s Theater performs at library

Members of the Weyauwega Public Library’s Reader’s Theater group spent this summer getting ready to perform.

On Aug. 11, the group performed at the library.

The cast of 10 ranged in age from 5 to 12 years old and performed five stories: “Grace for President,” “Heidi,” “Millions of Cats,” “Pecos Bill” and “The Jade Stone.”

In other library news, free books that were earned during the summer library program may be picked up until Aug. 27.

One free book was earned just for signing up for the program.

Coming up at the library are the following programs:

•Reader’s Theater Cast Party at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19.

•All-day Wii Party on Friday, Aug. 20.

•Book Friends at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23.

•Program about the Waupaca County Fair by Fairest of the Fair Amy Manske at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23.

All events are free and held at the library.
