Williams, Lyle A.

Lyle A. Williams, age 59 of New London, died unexpectedly at his residence Friday, August 27, 2010.

Lyle was born on July 24, 1951, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son to the late William and Dorothy (Kaufman) Williams. He served in the U.S. Army as a M.P and mechanic. Lyle resided
in Milwaukee area until his move to New London in 1978. He formerly worked at Wal-Mart. Lyle enjoyed working on cars as a mechanic, listening to music, fishing, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, the American Legion and Disabled Army Veterans. Lyle is survived by his wife, Kathleen; son, Anthony (Taralee) Williams, New London; daughter, Amy (Stanley) Kaempf, Kimberly; grandchildren, Logan and Riley Kaempt, Ana , Lucas, and Marcus Williams; step-brother, Scott Fabus, Sussex, WI and his Mother in-law, Ida Feltman. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. The Mass of Resurrection was held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 120 East Washington Street, New London, with Reverend David Lewis officiating. Family and friends called at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Military honors will be conducted. Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London assisted the family with arrangements.
