Wega Arts will present “The Story Behind the Song” at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at the George Gerold Opera House, 136 E. Main St.
The event will feature two local songwriters: Marci Beaucoup, of Waupaca, and Galynne Goodwill, of Wisconsin Rapids. They will share the personal stories behind the original songs they have written.
Tickets are $8 and are available at the Coffee Klatsch in Weyauwega, Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce and online at www.wegaarts.org.
