Mary Jo Lutnes, of Waupaca, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Appleton Medical Center.
She was born in Sioux Falls, SD on September 13, 1933 to the late Sidney and Evelyn (Pruner) Harding. Mary Jo obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree and her Masters Degree from Eastern Montana College in Billings, MT and was named in “Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.” She obtained her Doctorate Degree after moving to Wisconsin. She was a hairstylist; until becoming a counselor. She was a counselor and minister for many years, working with senior citizens and disabled adults. Mary Jo enjoyed arts, crafts and jewelry making. She will be sadly missed by her children: Paulette “Pepper” Aden, Perry Aden, Cristy (Dallas) Spader, Kimberly Koeshall, Tracy (Tim) Olson and Steven Graff. She is further survived by 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sisters: Donna Faller and Connie Myers, brothers: Henry and James Harding, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, David Aden. The family will be having a memorial service at a later date. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
