Waupaca County Sheriff Brad Hardel defeated challenger Manawa Police Chief Dave Walker in the Republican primary Tuesday.
With all 38 municipalities reporting as of 11 p.m. Tuesday, Hardel garnered 3,956 votes to Walker’s 3,416 votes.
