Matthew S. (Chooch) Lien, age 22, of Iola, died Wednesday, September 15th, 2010, at his residence. Matthew was born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, on November 16, 1987, the son of Scott Lien and Kate (Stevenson) Brunner. Matt worked as a laborer for Wellers Salvage in Galloway, WI. He is survived by his Mother: Kate (Kerry) Brunner of Stevens Point; Father: Scott Lien of Iola; Sister: Megan (Shane) Heindl of Iola; Grandmother: Arlene Lien of Iola; Niece: Xandra Heindl; Nephew: Kerrick Lien; Uncle: Alan (Vicky) Lien of California; Aunts: Kari (Mike) Christoph of Kimberly, Liz (Kris) Krohn of Illinois; Step-Brothers: Daniel Brunner of Madison, Michael Brunner of Madison; Step-Sister: Kimbereley Brunner of Manitowoc. He was preceded in death by Grandparents: A. Lowell “Buzzer” Lien and Robert & Marilyn Stevenson. Funeral Service was held at Faith Community Church at N2541 County K, Waupaca at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 18th, with Reverend Paul Stevens and Reverend Gary Strike officiating. Visitation was held Friday 4-8 PM. at Voie Funeral Home in Iola and at the church on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 AM.
