The Lady Trucker volleyball team had another strong outing against the Fox Valley Lutheran (FVL) Foxes on Thursday, Sept. 23.
The Lady Truckers started slow, losing the first set 15-25. Clintonville rebounded quickly, beating FVL by scores of 25-23, 25-21 and 25-19 in the next three sets to take the win.
Erin Richter had 12 kills and three block kills, while Stacy Reinke added 10 kills and three ace serves. Nikki Kautz added 34 assists, six kills and 10 digs.
“The girls came out playing pretty flat tonight but very quickly picked it up and finished the night hard,” said Coach Katie Ripley. “Good defense and quick thinking was a big factor in our win tonight. The girls did a really good job and they deserved the win tonight.”
The Lady Truckers are now 3-1 in Eastern Valley Conference play.
