The 15th annual Oglympics will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Reid F. Murray Park. The event is sponsored by the Ogdensburg Athletic Club (OAC).
The traditional nerf ball, football and basketball contests will be held. Children of all ages are invited to compete for ribbons and medals. The awards ceremony will be followed by refreshments.
OAC is dedicated to promoting a constructive sports program in Ogdensburg and surrounding communities. The event continues even though the organizer and former OAC president, Hyde Murray, passed away in April 2009.
