Guinness World record holder Jon Pritikin will be speaking in Clintonville at Family of Christ Church on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. He holds two world records, demonstrating feats of strength.
Pritkin travels around the United States and several foreign countries every year speaking to students and adults alike in school assemblies and churches. In the past few years he has spoken to over 3 million students in school assemblies alone. He is partnering with the National Character Education Foundation to impact young people in a positive manner.
Pritkin’s story begins with a traumatic childhood where he was teased, bullied relentlessly and had a difficult upbringing. The problems that he encountered eventually pointed him to Christ. From there he committed his life to God and now travels full time to share the message that each person matters to God and that God has a plan for their life.
In Clintonville, Pritkin will perform several feats of strength, including the breaking of a baseball bat and rolling up a frying pan and then will bring an encouraging word for the audience.
Richard Vanman, Pastor of Family of Christ, says, “We are thrilled to have such a sought after speaker like Jon come to Clintonville. The glowing reports from other pastors and leaders that have hosted Jon are encouraging. There is no doubt that Jon will captivate the audience with his demonstrations and words.”
There is no cost and the public is invited to attend. Family of Christ Church is located at 600 S. Main Street in Clintonville.
