Weyauwega to host youth football, cheer finals

The Mid-State Youth Football and Cheerleading Conference will wrap up its 2010 season Saturday, Oct. 16, in Weyauwega with four football games and a cheer competition at Weyauwega-Fremont High School.

Plainfield will face Manawa White at 9 a.m. in the Junior Pee-Wee third-place game, while Wild Rose and Wautoma Orange will play for the Junior Pee-Wee championship at 4 p.m.

Weyauwega and Manawa will play at 10:30 a.m. in the Pee-Wee third-place game, while Berlin Green and Winneconne 2 will play in the Pee-Wee championship game at 5:30 p.m.

Nine programs – Weyauwega-Fremont, Iola-Scandinavia, Manawa, Amherst, Plainfield, Berlin, Wautoma, Omro and Quad City – will be represented in the cheer competition, which starts at 1 p.m. in the school gym.
