Bethany Community Care Ministry is sponsoring the 23rd annual Thanksgiving and Christmas community dinners.
Seniors and those who may be alone or cannot afford to make a holiday meal come to the community dinners. Close to 350 meals are served with only freewill donations at the door and from the community.
The Waupaca Area Community Foundation provided a $500 donation to start off the fund drive.
Donations may be sent to Bethany Community Care at 1226 Berlin St., Waupaca, WI 54981.
Volunteer help is also needed for Christmas to organize the meals, serve, clean up and take home-delivered meals to those who are homebound. People who are able to give a few hours are encouraged to call Judy at 715-258-2518.
