Oct. 13 – Medication was taken from a vehicle while it was parked at the Iola IGA, Meadow Road.

Oct. 12 – Steven S. Gregerson, 39, East State Street, Iola, taken into custody on a bail jumping violation. Gregerson was spotted by police walking west on State Street with a woman whom he was specifically ordered no contact with as part of his bond. The woman told police that they now live together, the police report indicates. A police PBT test showed he had a .132 BAC and Gregerson also had a bond condition restricting consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages. Gregerson was transported to Waupaca County Jail.

Oct. 17 – Daniel J. Scribner, 45, Fischer Road, Iola, arrested for alleged disorderly conduct and probation violation in regards to an incident at JD’s Corner Bar, North Main Street, Iola. According to the police report, Scribner was allegedly disruptive at the bar, was in an argument with another patron, threw a glass across the bar at the bartender and as a result was escorted out of the establishment. A little while later, a fire was discovered on the smoking porch and it was extinguished by bar patrons. The Iola Fire Department was called to the scene. Police apprehended Scribner while he attempted to enter a vehicle near the bar. He was taken into custody on a hold for a probation violation and then transported to Waupaca County Jail. The case has been forwarded to the Waupaca County District Attorney’s Office.
