Milo E. Fossen, 67, of DePere, died Sun., Oct. 3, 2010, in Glen-wood, MN. Funeral services were held. Fri. Oct. 8, in Glen-wood. Milo E. Fossen, Jr. was born on October 17, 1942, in Starbuck, MN. Milo dedicated over 30 yrs. to the Wisconsin Public School System, retiring in 1999 after serving with the administrative team of both Clintonville and Pittsville Public Schools. His greatest personal achievement was serving as advocate for all children. Milo’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, and spending time with his three grandsons, encouraging their love for the outdoors. Milo Jr. and his wife, Dianne, were particularly fond of international travel. Milo is survived by his wife, Dianne; a daughter, Christine Fossen-Rades and her husband, Patrick Rades, along with grandsons, Milo and Leopold, all of DePere,; a son, Garth Fossen and his wife, Chau Hoang-Fossen, along with grandson, Elgin, all of Portland, Ore.; and three brothers, Larry (Herbie) Fossen of Port Charolotte, Fla., Ivan (Susan) Fossen of Glenwood, MN and Dean (Peggy) Fossen of Becker, MN. Please join family and friends for a celebration of Milo’s life on Sat. Nov. 13 from noon to 4 at the Pamperin Park Shelter in Green Bay.
