The Manawa School Board approved a 3.8 percent increase for teachers at a special meeting Oct. 28.
The two-year agreement with the Manawa Educators Association (MEA) covers contracts from July 1, 2009, through June 30, 2011. The MEA voted to ratify the contract on Wednesday, Oct. 27.
According to District Administrator Duane Braun, there are no significant language changes in the contract.
