Weyauwega to celebrate Christmas with parade

WEYAUWEGA – Weyauwega’s downtown Christmas parade and celebration will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4.

This year, the community will be lit up with luminaria. Families are invited to create them and to then help decorate for the night.

Those who want to participate in this year’s parade will find a Christmas parade entry form on the Weyauwega Area Chamber of Commerce’s website – www.weyauwegachamber.com.

Pre-registration is not required but is appreciated.

Plans call for those in the parade to meet at the Weyauwega Public Library at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 for the lighting of the Christmas tree there. The parade will then follow carolers down Main Street to the community’s second Christmas tree, which is located at the corner of Main and Pine streets.
