Forseth, Elaine F.

Elaine F. Forseth, age 78, of Waupaca, WI., passed away on Thursday, November 25th, 2010, at her residence. She was born in the Town of Lanark, Portage Co., WI., on July 30, 1932, a daughter of the late William A. and Elsie M. (Nowak) Schulke. She married William R. Forseth on September 13, 1952 in the Town of Buena Vista. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2000. Elaine was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Elaine graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1950. She worked for 2 years at the Telephone Company and then moved to Waupaca and worked at the Delaven Hotel as a waitress where she met Bill. They then lived in Van Dyne for 5 years before moving back to Waupaca. Elaine loved spending time with her family and camping. Survivors include her Children: Peggy Abhold, Waupaca, WI; Daniel (Cindy) Forseth, Waupaca, WI; Richard (Mary) Forseth, Amherst, WI; Jerry (Julie) Forseth, Waupaca, WI; 13 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren plus 1 on the way; 3 Brothers: Willard Schulke, Waupaca, WI; Bernard (Pat) Schulke, Waupaca, WI; Verlyn (Joann) Schulke; Brother-in-law: Sam (Linda) Forseth, Pine River, WI. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Dale, granddaughter, Kelly Ann Forseth, brother, Leonard Schulke and 3 sisters, Evonne Leary, Gertrude Bartel and Adeline Schulke. Funeral Services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca at 11 AM on Monday, November 29th, 2010, with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews officiating. Interment was in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Town Buena Vista, Portage Co., WI. Visitation was held on Monday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
