Hardy, Luella E.

Luella E. “Min” Hardy, age 78, of Weyauwega, passed away at her residence on Monday, November 22, 2010. She was born on August 12, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois daughter of the late Art and Myrtle Raupp. On July 25, 1953, she married James W. Hardy Jr. in Des Plaines, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 2008. Luella and Jim lived most of their life in Illinois until moving to Weyauwega in May of 1981. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega. Min enjoyed gardening, fishing and cooking for her family. Min was a 2nd mother to many. She is survived by her children: Cheryl Hardy, Gary (Karen) Hardy, Dawn (Doug) Ruhnke, Dan (Lisa) Hardy; grandchildren: Beth (Chris) Baima, Kelly (Adam) Duval, Kurt (Mary) Ruhnke, James, Ben and Matt. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and son Doug. The Funeral Mass for Min was held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega with Fr. Bertin Samsa OFM Cap officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. Friends called at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega on Friday from 4-7 p.m. A parish prayer service was held at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Friends also called at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Hospice Foundation, P.O.
