Weyauwega files to increase water rates

The city of Weyauwega Water and Sewer Utility filed an application with the Public Service Commission (PSC) of Wisconsin to increase water rates.

The city has requested an overall increase in annual revenues of $126,790, which is a 40 percent increase over present revenues. The PSC will determine the actual level of the revenue requirement after reviewing the application and scheduling a public hearing. The increase to individual customers will vary with water usage and the rates authorized by the PSC.
