Samson, Clarence Jr.

Clarence J. Jr. Samson, age 49, of New London, died on Monday, December 6, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on December 28, 1960, in New London. Clarence went to New London Schools and worked at Sturms in Manawa for many years until poor health forced his retirement. He is survived by his parents: Florence and step-father Le Roy Hammel, New London; Clarence Samson Sr., New London; children: Julie (Pat) Plamann, New London; Jerry Samson, New London; 2 grandchildren: Hannah and Ava Plamann; 2 sisters: Virginia Schweitzer and Connie (Gordon) Gabrielson, both of New London; step-brother and step-sisters: Donna (Harold) Ambrosius, Green Bay; Diane (Brian) Leisch, Oneida; James (Marlene) Hammel, Lakewood; Nancy (Steve) Eick, Seymour; Laurie (Chester) Brozozowski, Green Bay. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Alonzo and Liz (Latza) Samson; maternal grandparents: Peter and Iva (Jarvis) Bessette and a sister Barb Ritchie. It was Clarence’s wish to not have any services.
