Waupaca County sheriff’s report

? An Appleton man was seriously injured shortly before 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 24, after his snowmobile collided with a car in the town of Dayton.

Matthew D. Paul, 26, was operating a snowmobile westbound on the trail near Crystal Lake Road when he failed to stop at the stop sign where the trail crosses State Highway 22.

Paul hit the passenger side of a northbound Ford Taurus driven by Renee E. Zernich, 23, Bonduel, according to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department.

Paul was taken by ambulance to Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, then airlifted to ThedaClark Medical Center in Neenah.

Zernich was not injured in the crash.

Theft

? Dec. 26 – A resident of the 400 block of Center Street, Waupaca, reported the theft of cigarettes, a cell phone, a food stamp card and $20 cash from her home.

? Dec. 26 – A resident of the 500 block of Division Street, Waupaca, reported the theft of $40 cash.

? Dec. 24 – The Kwik Trip on Mill Street in New London reported that a man stole a 20-pack of beer and dropped his wallet in the store.

? Dec. 21 – A wallet was reported stolen from an apartment on the 400 block of East Road, Weyauwega.

? Dec. 19 – A game camera was stolen from a vehicle parked outside Badger Tap in Clintonville.

? Dec. 17 – A maroon Ford F150 was reported stolen from the E9200 block of Potters Creek Road, New London.

Burglary

? Dec. 21 – Shamrock Construction, State Highway 22, Bear Creek, reported that someone broke into its job trailers.

? Dec. 13 – D & M Auto Repair, New London, reported a break-in.

Fraud

? Dec. 26 – A Fremont woman reported that unauthorized charges had been made on her credit card and the merchandize shipped to Phoenix, Ariz.

? Dec. 18 – A New London man reported the unauthorized use of his credit card over the Internet.
