Amy Hanten, The Cooking Mom and host of Fox 11’s Living with Amy launches debut cookbook. Amy Hanten, host of Fox 11’s Living with Amy launches her first cookbook called The Cooking Mom this week. The book boasts over 300 pages filled with Amy’s best recipes, stories and secrets to help get families back to the dinner table. From kicked up casseroles to seriously good soups, The Cooking Mom is the perfect companion for busy families everywhere. The launch has created quite the buzz in the area with distribution at all Festival Foods locations along with many other local stores and retailers. The cookbook can also be found on Amazon. For years, people have been asking when the cookbook was coming out. As a lifelong dream of Amy’s that is finally come true, she acknowledges how lucky she is to have the support of Northeast Wisconsin. To support the cookbook, a new website has been launched simultaneously. The site has cooking videos with additional recipes that are not in her book. The site allows real moms and dads to submit their own favorite recipes and to sign up for The Cooking Mom newsletter. You will also find some of Amy’s favorite things and can her schedule of book signings and appearances. Amy’s debut cookbook, The Cooking Mom, can be found in many retailers around the state. Interested individuals can check the website http://www.thecookingmom.com for retailer locations and book signings. Amy will be at Econo Foods in Clintonville on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 10:00am-12:00pm. The book is currently for sale at both the Brillion and Clintonville Econo Foods locations. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Amy Hanten is The Cooking Mom and host of Fox 11’s Living with Amy. Her show is a number one rated, hour long cooking and lifestyle show. It is one of the only “live” hour long cooking shows in the country. Anything can and does happen which keeps Amy on her toes. Amy is a Midwest gal from Petoskey, Michigan. She went to Marquette University and graduated with a Journalism degree in 1988. She is wife to Bob and mom to Riley, Ireland and a really big lab, Levi. Amy says they all eat very well!
