The Waupaca Community Arts Center will hold an Encore Treasures Sale from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 14-15.
It will be a resale of such things as housewares, gift items, collectibles, arts and crafts materials. There will be no clothing, personal items, toys or sporting goods.
Those who would like to contribute items for the fundraising sale may call the arts center at 715-258-3741. Items will be accepted through Thursday, Jan. 13.
The snow dates for the event are Friday and Saturday, Jan. 21-22.
Also coming up at the center are the following:
?A Meet the Artists event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20. The featured artists will be Linda Kasten, rosemaling; Erin Haasch, elemental jewelry; and Lynn Hansen, acrylic, watercolor and mosaics. All three of the artists have art at the center. They will demonstrate their artwork. Refreshments will be available.
?Developing an Internet Presence, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, with Dave Blank, who is the arts center’s Web designer and one of its photographers. For more information about the class, call the center or e-mail [email protected].
