Candidates for the Clintonville Common Council and Clintonville School Board have submitted their election papers for the April 5 elections.
City of Clintonville Common Council
District 1, Wards 1 and 2
Alderperson Roger Metzger has filed non-candidacy papers and will not seek re-election. Bill Zeinert has submitted papers and will seek election.
District 2, Ward 3
Incumbent Phil Rath has filed election papers and will seek re-election. He will be challenged by Joe lamia, who has also filed election papers.
District 3, Ward 4
Incumbent Jerry Jorgenson will run for re-election. He will be challenged by John Wilson, who has also submitted election papers.
District 4, Ward 5
Incumbent Nancy Koeppen has submitted non-candidacy papers and will not seek re-election. Lois Bressette has filed papers and will seek election.
District 5, Ward 6 and 7
Incumbent Mark Doornink will seek re-election, while challenger Karlene Jaensch has also submitted papers and will seek election.
Clintonville Public School District Board of Education
Incumbents Tom Neely and Ben Huber will seek re-election to their respective seats on the Board of Education.
