First State Bank announces 2011 officers

First State Bank held its annual shareholder’s meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 11. In addition to the re-election of directors and officers of the bank, three staff members were promoted to officer positions during the meeting.

Pamela K. Buttles was promoted to officer and loan operations manager. She joined First State Bank in 2007 as a business banking assistant and was promoted to loan operations manager in 2010. She is responsible for the bank’s loan servicing, processing, and compliance.

Terrah L. Miller was promoted to officer and consumer banking manager of the Dale office. She joined First State Bank in 2006 as the consumer banking assistant at its Waupaca location, transferring to the Dale office in 2008. As consumer banking manager, she is the relationship manager for the bank’s Dale customers; she will also oversee operations for the Dale office.

Carrie C. Willes was promoted to consumer banking officer and relationship manager at the New London office. She joined First State Bank in 2007 as a teller and consumer banking assistant at the bank’s Cecil office. In 2010, Carrie was promoted to consumer banker at the New London bank. As a relationship manager she will be helping customers with their deposit and loan needs.

The following directors were also re-elected to First State Bank’s board of directors: Paul G. Bernegger, Michael L. Coppersmith, Charles N. Klein, Paul J. Noel, Harry A. Radix, Kent L. Rusch, Marvin F. Schneider, and Jeffrey J. Werner.

Officers who were re-elected at the annual meeting are: Harry A. Radix, president and chief executive officer; William C. Hodgkiss, senior vice president/business banking; Maureen G. Jorgensen, senior vice president/consumer banking, Michael K. Sullivan, senior vice president/administration and operations; Robert J. Van Asten, senior vice president/credit administration; Kim I. Ellingson, vice president/human resources; Brenda L. Hansen, vice president/marketing; Peter J. Kurth, vice president/business banking; Timothy F. Pritzl, vice president/business banking; Tod N. Severson, vice president/business banking; Jon L. Majerus, assistant vice president/consumer banking manager of the Clintonville bank; Constance R. Rust as assistant vice president/consumer banking manager in New London; Janelle K. Donaldson, deposit operations officer; Dennis D. Federwitz, information technology officer; Mary A. Griffin, consumer banking manager of the Manawa bank; John D. Lockwood, consumer banking manager of the Waupaca bank; Susie J. Okrasinski, operations and training officer; Ann M. Kallies, consumer banking manager of the Cecil bank; Sara B. Stenz, accounting and finance manager; and Sandy K. Zahn, controller.

In his comments to the stockholders, Radix reported total assets of the bank were $303 million as of December 31, 2010.
