Talking books program at library

A program on the Wisconsin Talking Book and Braille Library (WTBBL) will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at the Waupaca Area Public Library.

Enid Gruzska, management librarian with the WTBBL, will talk about the resources available to patrons who are visually impaired or physically disabled.

She will demonstrate the new portable digital playback device and explain how to download books from the Internet, obtain current magazines on audio, listen to the newspaper via the telephone, and listen to audio-described DVDs.

The program is sponsored by the Outagamie-Waupaca Library System.
