Plan for City Easter Egg Hunt

Clintonville’s city Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday April 23rd at Bucholtz Park with two hunt start times – 10 am for those youth 5 and under and 10:30 for youth age 6-10. 1000 plastic eggs will be hidden in the park and each egg when found and turned in entitles that youth to a special prize. The number of eggs that each child can find and turn in will be limited and any child not finding at least one egg (which is highly unlikely) will still receive a prize.

Volunteers are still needed to help out the day of the event. Items that can be used for prizes and financial support are also still being sought. Businesses, organizations and individuals interested in helping out are asked to contact Dick Writt at the Park and Recreation Department 823-7660.

The Easter Bunny will be making a special appearance at the Easter Egg Hunt once again this year. Scoopie from Culver’s Restaurant and the Great Root Bear from the A&W Family Restaurant have also indicated they will be in attendance and it is hoped that several other of their friends will be present as well.
