Roger A. Deschler, 56, of Iola, died Friday, April 22, 2011, at his residence.
Roger was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, on September 1, 1954, the son of the late Gloria Deschler.
He had worked as a mechacic for various auto repair shops and had ran his own salvage company.
He enjoyed building model cars, ice racing, demolition derbies, fishing, car and model car shows. He is survived by: Daughers; Rhonda (Jason Hankey) Deschler, Waupaca, Marnie Parse, Green Bay, Brothers & Sisters; Terry Deschler, Marion, Rebecca (Dewey) Davenport, Waupaca, Wesley Deschler, Waupaca, Janet (Owen Murphy) Deschler, Marion, Debra Deschler, Scandinavia, Danny Deschler, Marion, Lester (Lanae) Deschler, Waupaca, Donald (Brandi) Deschler, Marion. Roger is also survived by grandchildren: Aubrey McCallum Deschler, Lila Hankey, Jordan Parse, and Ryan Karpinski. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Voie Funeral Home, at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 7th, 2011. Friends may call on Saturday from11:30 A. M., until the time of service.
