Myers, Jeanie H.

Jeanie H. Myers, 66, of Scandinavia, died Sunday, May 29, 2011, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born in Wausau, on September 4, 1944, to the late Carl and Marion (Jaeger) Leiskau. Jeanie married William Myers on August 12, 1961, in Bowler, Wis. He survives. She had worked as file clerk at the Iola Clinic for many years for Dr. N.J. Hollero. Jeanie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, bird-watching and reading. She is survived by her husband William Myers, Scandinavia; daughters, Deb (Loren) Johnson, Iola, Darla Myers, Green Bay; son, Bill (Angie) Myers, Scandinavia; brother, Robert (Patti) Leiskau, Waupaca. Jeanie is survived by three grandchildren, Logan Johnson, Billy and Burkley Myers. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Wilson. Funeral Services were held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Iola, Wis., at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011, with Reverend Dennis Olson officiating. Interment was in the Our Savior’s Lutheran Cemetery, town of Scandinavia, Wis.
