Thirty-two Little League baseball teams competed June 24-26 in the Coach Koronkiewicz Comet Baseball Tournament at Swan Park in Waupaca.
The teams came from Waupaca, Iola, Plover, Green Bay, Sheboygan, Wittenberg, Appleton, Howard, Fond du Lac, Ashwaubenon, Greenville, Neenah, Oshkosh and Northbrook, Ill.
Tournament champions are Plover (9U), Greenville (10U), Green Bay Sluggers (11U) and Appleton Einstein (12U). The Green Bay Sluggers placed second in the 9U Division; Appleton Einstein took second in 10U, followed by Plover; Plover and Appleton Einstein finished second and third, respectively, in 11U; and Neenah and Oshkosh placed second and third in 12U.
