Loughrin, Thomas J.

Thomas J. Loughrin, age 66, Waupaca died on Sunday, July 24, 2011. Tom was born on December 26, 1944, son of the late Leonard and Anna Elizabeth (Hogan) Loughrin. He worked as a mill worker for a small company in Waupaca and also as a barber in Appleton and New London for many years. Tom was an extremely proud Irishman. Tom is survived by a brother, Mike (Barb), New London; a sister, Jeanette (Al) Below, Oregon, WI; sisters in-law, Betty Loughrin, Princeton, WI and Sue Loughrin, Tustin, WI. Thirty one nieces and nephews, friend of many years, Jerry Bonnes, Saxeville; and also many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Don and Robert; sisters and brothers in-law, Elizabeth (Ray) Kraft and Dorothy (Gordon) Handrich; two nieces, Jeanne Below and Kathy Probst. Funeral services for Tom was held on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Lally officiating. Visitation was held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Lebanon.
Tom’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Crystal River Nursing Home for all the care and concern they showed Tom during his stay.
