David Bricco age 79, New London died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 6, 2011, at his residence.

David was born on November 8, 1931, in New London, son of the late Arthur and Lorena (Lorge) Bricco. He was united in marriage to Regina Crain on October 7, 1954 in Lebanon Township. David was a loving and dedicated husband having cared for Regina during her illness until the time of her death On May 2, 2010. He was a resident of New London all of his life and was employed at Curwood in New London for many years; he served as the Vice President and President of the United Paper Workers International Union. David was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus (Father Herb Council) and the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. He was a avid bowler, enjoyed hunting, playing cards, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events; he was especially fond of being with his family and spending time with them at their cottage on Bear Lake. He is survived by three daughters; Sue, her husband, Roger Steingraber, New London, their children, Maggie her husband, Sean Pharr, Matthew and Mollie; Ann her husband, Gerald Behnke, New London, their children, Brent and Thomas; Renee her husband, Paul Thompson, Appleton, their daughters, Lily and Hazel; a son, James his wife, Colleen Kelly, New London, their children, Megan, Michael and Caitlin Kurtzweil. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mary Fran Crain, Germantown; Clair Flease, New London; Robert and Gail Crain, New London; William and Suzanne Crain, Germantown; Kathleen and Arnold Tennie, New London and Marie and Edward Jagoditsch, New London. He is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Regina; his sister, Jean; and his brother, Donald who was killed in WWII. Funeral Mass for David was held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London the Fr. David Lewis officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Visitation was held on Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, a Knights of Columbus and a 7:30 prayer service was held. Visitation was held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
