The Waupaca County Fair opens Wednesday, Aug. 24, in Weyauwega.

The event offers five days of rides on the Midway, tractor pulls, pig chasing, a demolition derby, magic shows, live music and chain saw carving.

Friday is Senior Citizen’s Day and features Neil Zunker and the Music Connection, Mad Dog & Merrill, and Big League Bull Riding.

Saturday is the horse pull, pedal pull, chain saw carving auction, Nascar Party, and “Surfs Up,” a tribute to the Beach Boys.

Other county fair highlights include The Kidbucks Gameshow, chain saw artists, Rondini’s Magic Show and a catch-and-release trout pond.
