The 26th annual Fremont Area Law Enforcement Children’s Fishing Tournament will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Wolf River Crossings Park in Fremont.
The event is being sponsored by the Fremont Police Department, Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department, and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
The first 150 children, between the ages of 3 and 13, who are registered, can participate in the event. Registration must be completed by 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9. Registrations received after that date will not be accepted.
Registration forms can be completed at the village clerk’s office during normal business hours. To complete the registration form online, visit the department’s website at http://www.fremontpd.net.
