Wild Rose Fish Hatchery Fall Visitor Hours Visitor Hours: Aug 31 to Sept 5, Wed. through Labor Day (Monday) 8 to 3. After Labor Day, Visitor Hours in September: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 11 to 3. October Visitor Hours: Fridays and Saturdays 8 to 3 and Sundays 11-3. SPECIAL EVENT: Mark your calendar to celebrate the last weekend open to visitors at the Wild Rose Hatchery Education Center on Saturday, October 29, 8 to 3: CSI Fall Fish Migration Mystery. Investigators of all ages are invited to search for clues to solve the fishy mystery, “Why are the fish leaving Lake Michigan?” This free event includes activities like fish print t-shirts, fish casting, fish bingo and treats.
