Pallets in trailer ignite

The New London Fire Department responded to Newark Paperboard Products on Industrial Loop Road Wednesday, Aug. 31. A semi trailer used to house pallets had caught fire. Originally, the fire was thought to be related to a gas leak, but that was not the case. Fire department officials worked quickly to vent the fire and extinguish it.
