The Humane Society of Waupaca County’s South Bark Family Reunion will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at South Park.
Families who have adopted dogs or cats from the Humane Society are invited to attend.
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome. Families with cats are encouraged to bring photos of their cats to post on a board.
Commemorative T-shirts are available with first dibs to adopters. In addition, the shirts can be ordered for delivery after the event. There will also be demonstrations, vendors and games.
At noon, a group photo of Humane Society adopters will be taken.
At 1 p.m., a memorial balloon release is planned. Participants can purchase a balloon to release to honor a beloved pet or animal lover.
Admission is free. All proceeds benefit the Humane Society’s Adoption Center.
