Godfrey, Dr. Helen

Dr. Helen R. Godfrey, Stevens Point, WI, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011. Helen retired from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point where she served as Assistant Chancellor for Student Affairs. Helen enjoyed a lifetime connection with Waupaca relatives and friends. Her cottage on Round Lake was special to Helen. She is survived by her brother, Jim Godfrey of Waupaca, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 4:30 PM at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Stevens Point, WI. A memorial visitation will be held at the church on Thursday one hour prior to the time of the service. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with local arrangements.
