Fuhrmann, Michael Jon

Michael Jon Fuhrmann, age 55, passed away on Saturday October 1, 2011 at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home, Weyauwega, WI. Michael was born the son of Robert E. and Marcella A. Fuhrmann on May 29, 1956 in New London. He was employed at Waupaca County Industries in Manawa until 2010. Michael enjoyed music and movies. He personally loved “West Side Story,” The Music Man”, and “Oklahoma.” He was a fan of the Packers, Braves, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers. He also loved the annual Lions Club fishing trips, and summer vacations at Keller’s Lake Camp. Mike enjoyed traveling to Disney World in Orlando Florida, The Grand Ole Opry in Bronson, MO, and the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, CA. He loved coming to Shawano Lake at his sister’s cottage and ride the pontoon boat. His most treasured possessions in life were a domino and a clothes pin. Michael is survived by a sister Alice (Peter) Brusky of Shawano, WI and two brothers, Tom (Sharon) Fuhrmann of Weyerhauser, WI and Tim (Judy) Fuhrmann of Sparta, WI. Also, he is survived by his immediate nieces and nephews and their families: Andy (Laura) Brusky and daughter Olivia; Amy (Steve) Culbert and children Clay and Caitlyn; Matthew (Bonnie) Brusky and children Gabe and Ezra; Molly (Brusky) Robb and daughter Lauren; Sarah (Nick) Jungels and daughters Lily, Lucy, Stella, and Norah; Ben (Maura) Brusky and children Ellie and Colin; Joseph Brusky; Patrick Brusky; Emily (Dale) Hawkes; Daniel Fuhrmann;Samuel Fuhrmann; and Marcella Joyce Fuhrmann. He is further survived by his Guardian Angel Group Home caretaker and friend Cindy Waller, and housemates Elmer, Clarence and Nancy. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marcella Fuhrmann; nephew David Joshua Fuhrmann, and his caretaker’s husband, Richard Waller. Funeral Mass for Michael will be held on Friday October 7th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with Fr. David Lewis & Deacon Thomas Fuhrmann officiating. Interment will be held at Most Precious Blood Cemetery, New London following the service. Friends may call at Cline-Hanson Funeral Home in New London on Thursday evening, October 6th, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Friends may call at the M.P.B. church on Friday October 7th, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a brief grave side services after Mass at the MBP Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be given in Michael’s name to the Guardian Angel Group Home in New London, WI in care of Cindy Waller.
