Sprowles, Lucille V.

Lucille V. Sprowles, age 90, of New London, died on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at St. Joseph Residence in New London. She was born on July 21, 1921, in Randville, Michigan, the daughter of the late George and Bertha (Steinmetz) Fredenberg. In 1972, Lucille married Milton Sprowles at Zion Lutheran Church in Readfield. He preceded her in death on 1992. Lucille was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Readfield. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and sewing. Lucille is survived by five children, Raymond Spiegelberg, Fremont; Marilyn Lienhard, New London; Dodi (Dale) Sprout, Minnesota; Veronica (James) Schlack, Menasha; and Gary Spiegelberg, Fremont; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Walter Fredenberg, Highland, IN; and Ralph (Marian) Fredenberg, Sun City, AZ; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, N985 County Rd. W, Readfield. Rev. Paul Zittlow will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church, from 9:00 AM until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established for Zion Lutheran Church Air Conditioning Fund.
