The Fremont Elementary Drama Club will present two performances of its play, “Humbug!” on Tuesday, Dec. 13, in the school’s gym.
The first performance will begin at 1:30 p.m., with the evening performance set for 6:30 p.m.
“Humbug!” is based on Charles Dickens’ novel, “A Christmas Carol.”
In the version that will be performed by the drama club, the character Scrooge is a teacher, who is visited by her past, present and future. She realizes that she has lost her spark for teaching and becomes inspired to get it back.
The drama club consists of 28 third through fifth-grade students.
