Peters, Dorothy A.

Dorothy A. Peters, age 99, New London, died on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at St. Joseph Residence. Dorothy was born on February 28, 1912, in New London, daughter to the late Charles and Lena (Wiesen) Eggers. On September 12, 1949, she was united in marriage to George B. Peters. He preceded her in death in 1994. Dorothy was an avid bowler and was a founding member of the Happy-Go-Lucky League. She enjoyed fishing, Packer games and Brewer games. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the highlights of her life. Dorothy enjoyed dancing and was known for her sense of humor. She formerly worked at Leo’s Supper Club and the Edison. She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Ann (Marlin “Red”) Konrad, New London; a son, Joseph Peters, New London; Grandchildren, Wendi (Joseph) Murphy, New London; Kay Konrad, Green Bay and Joel Konrad, New London; great-grandchildren: Raysean, Layanna, Kimberly, Elizabeth and Benjamin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Joseph and a grandson, Greg Konrad. Funeral Mass for Dorothy was held on Monday, December 5, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London with Fr. David Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation was held at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, 209 W.
