Golla, Kevin A.

Kevin Alan Golla, age 54, (formerly of Ogdensburg,) passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2011, at his home in Clintonville. Kevin was born on August 9, 1957 in Kaukauna, son of the late Ernest and Agnes (Kawleski) Golla. He graduated from Kimberly High School, and studied drafting at Fox Valley Technical Institute. He lived briefly in Louisiana, where he completed schooling in foreign auto repairs and kept his sister’s sports car running until returning to Wisconsin. Kevin worked at Sturms and Hawk Trailers in Manawa, and most recently at Klein Coatings in Clintonville. Kevin enjoyed playing pool and was quite good, once competing in the APA National Championships in Las Vegas. He also enjoyed fishing, be it for catfish, pike or walleye. He was always generous, willing to lend a hand, and happy to teach anyone how to hit a bank or combination shot. He will be greatly missed. Kevin is survived by his sisters, Grace (Gordon) Smith, Apple Valley, CA and Nancy Golla, Waupaca; his brother, Terrence (DeAnn) Golla, Appleton; nephews, Robert Golla, Andrew Golla, and Nicholas Lynch; and niece Megan Lynch. He is also survived by aunts, numerous cousins and friends. In accordance with family wishes, a private memorial will be held. To honor Kevin’s life, a get together and memorial pool tournament will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 beginning at 10 a.m. at Club 161 in Ogdensburg. Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N.
