Pietz, Margaret Emma

Margaret Emma Pietz, age 85, of Manawa, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Greentree Health Care Center in Clintonville. She was born on April 30, 1926 in Manawa, daughter of the late Arthur and Hilda (Bartel) Pietz. Maggie worked at FWD in Clintonville for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed flower gardens, crafts, and loved to bake. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco. She is survived by a sister, Alice (Duane) Bartel, Ogdensburg; and brother-in-law, Laverne Wartner, Fond du Lac. She is further survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Gertrude Wartner, Lucille Drath; brother, Norman Pietz; sister-in-law, Lucille Pietz; brother-in-law, Ordell Drath; and niece Judy (Drath) Cook. The funeral service for Maggie is being held today, Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Symco. A visitation for Maggie was held on Wednesday, January 11, from 6-8 p.m. at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
