Clintonville teen returns to court

William E. Davidson Jr., 18, Clintonville, faces two more charges of felony bail jumping, as well as a misdemeanor charge of telephone harassment.

Over the past year, the Waupaca County district attorney’s office has filed eight criminal complaints against Davidson.

In January 2011, Davidson was charged with five counts of sexual assault of a child and five counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. He was released from custody on a $5,000 signature bond.

Later that same month, Davidson was charged with disorderly conduct and bail jumping.

In August 2011, Davidson was charged with felony sexual assault of a child, third degree sexual assault, child enticement, false imprisonment and felony bail jumping. He was released on a $10,000 signature bond with the conditions that he report to the Clintonville Police Department at 5 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday and be at home except while at school.

On Oct. 30, Davidson was charged with felony bail jumping and released on the same bond with the same conditions.

On Nov. 8, Davidson was charged with battery and bail jumping. The following day, Judge Philip Kirk modified Davidson’s bond to allow him to take college entrance exams and go to job interviews.

On Nov. 17, Davidson was charged with felony bail jumping.

On the morning of Nov. 18, the principal at Clintonville High School contacted Clintonville Police Officer Dennis Finger regarding allegations that Davidson had been sexually harassing a female student.

Finger spoke with the girl, who said Davidson sent her numerous text messages between 6 p.m. and 9:44 p.m. Nov. 17.

According to the criminal complaint, one of the messages from Davidson read, “What would you do if I knocked on your window?”

The girl responded by indicating she thought it was creepy.

Later, Davidson allegedly texted the girl, “But I want to hang out and have sex with you. Kidding LOL.”

The girl told police that she was upset, offended and made uncomfortable because she did not want to encounter Davidson at the high school the following day.

Davidson told police that he was just messing around.

Davidson was charged with felony bail jumping for failing to report to the police station on time.
