It took awhile for the Clintonville boys’ basketball team to heat up in its nonconference game over Weyauwega-Fremont.
Once the Truckers did, however, it was too much for the Indians to overcome, as W-F came out on the short end of a 65-42 score Tuesday, Jan. 17.
The Indians led 15-11 heading into the second quarter, but the Truckers outscored them 16-10 in the second quarter, 16-11 in the third and 22-6 in the fourth.
W-F’s Tanner Ross and Clintonville’s Jesse Brauer shared scoring honors with 17 points each. Treg DeSantis added 10 for the Indians, while John Schultz finished with 10 for the Truckers.
