Dopson, Elisabeth

Elisabeth Dopson, age 74, of Appleton, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at her home. Elisabeth was born in Germany on July 5, 1937 to the late Kurt and Charlotte Voller. In 1957, she was united in marriage to James H. Dopson. The couple enjoyed thirty years together until his death in 1987. Elisabeth worked at Younkers for the past 20 years. She loved painting, spending time with family and friends and was a member at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Appleton. She will be sadly missed by her 2 daughters: Betina (John) Vanden Bosch, Wrightstown and Naomi (Robert) La Croix, Combined Locks; 3 grandchildren: Ashley (David) Poppe, James Nienhaus, and Allison La Croix; and a sister Sabina (Peter) Bauer, Frankfurt, Germany. She is further survived by a niece and a nephew. A Memorial Service was held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 4, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2220 E. College Ave. Appleton.
