The Waupaca High School forensics team placed first out of 27 teams at the Feb. 4 Winneconne meet.
Finalists included Parker Kantos in solo serious, Nick Jungers in solo humorous, Brayden Kendziora in prose and the team of Nick Jungers and Ryan Wiese in duo acting.
Placing in their categories were the team of Parker Kantos and Eric Cummings, second in duo; Cassie Manadue, second in poetry and third in oral intrepretation of literature; Eric Cummings, first in oratory; Brayden Kendziora, first in oral interpretation of literature; and Cole Pankratz, first in special occasion.
