Waupaca Area Food Pantry plans open house
The Waupaca Area Food Pantry is celebrating its move to a bigger location on Churchill Street with an open house.
The open house will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, March 2. Members of the community are invited to tour the property at 800 Churchill St. Refreshments will be available.
The non-profit organization acquired the property on Churchill Street on Dec. 30 and opened at the new location on Feb. 1.
Prior to the move, the food pantry was located at 413 S. Main St., next to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
The Waupaca Area Food Pantry is open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and serves families in the Waupaca School District.
