Lioness Club selling roses

Iola Lioness Club members Jeanette Moos, Sherry Niedert and Sherry Kielblock had a bit of fun while selling roses at the Norwegian Lutefisk Dinner.

For $15, Iola Lioness Club will deliver a dozen roses Friday, April 13. All orders must be received by March 27.

Last year the Iola Lioness sold more than 500 dozen roses.

The sale of the roses provides funds for scholarships, Iola Children’s Garden, River Road Community Garden, Scandinavia Food Pantry, Iola Village Library, Wisconsin Lion programs, Iola Police CounterAct program, Scandinavia Fire Department, Iola Living Assistance and Living Oaks programs, many I-S High School club programs, the Easter party, the Post Prom party, the Santa Parade and other community programs.
